What's Changing?
Effective, July 1st, 2024 Hapag-Lloyd is implementing a Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF) of USD $25 per container for bookings cancelled, reduced, or rolled over within 3 days of the port cut-off date listed on your booking confirmation.
What You Need to Do:
· To avoid this fee, submit any booking changes or cancellations at least 4 days before the port cut-off date.
· You can easily make changes by contacting your Laufer Export Operations team via email or phone.
Additional Information:
· This fee applies only to Laufer Group ocean export bookings where the carrier is Hapag-Lloyd.
· The maximum fee per booking event is capped at 10 containers.
· Bookings are also subject to BCF and automatic cancellation / rolling / reduction in case any cutoff is not met including port cutoff, rail cutoff, or documentation cutoff.
